As of today the Smart City Expo World Congress is the most famous and powerful event in the world that has been gathering 8 years in a row the heads of local governments and leading business companies that assist the cities in their transformation into smart and sustainable.

This year, the EXPO Center hosted 844 stands presenting city development programs, as well as innovative projects and services that the business is ready to offer to cities. More than 700 cities from 146 countries of the world took part in the event. The most attractive and interesting stands have been prepared by the cities of Spain, the Netherlands, Estonia, Austria, Finland, Israel, UAE, Qatar, China and Thailand. Among the most powerful business companies offering their products to cities, the stands of Huawei, MasterCard, Cisco, Siemens, Microsoft, Hexagon, Bosh were the most attractive.

More than 60 workshops (master classes) were held in the framework of the EXPO, in which the latest innovative developments of companies in various areas of city management were presented (urban strategic planning, traffic management, environmental monitoring, household waste management, intelligent transport, etc.). More than 400 speakers took part in a number of thematic congresses.
