The founder of the PPP Academy prof. Irina Zapatrina has been joined to the Сore team of the U4SSC Thematic Group on Innovative Financing Instruments for Smart Sustainable Cities, which is led by UNECE
The thematic group “Innovative financing instruments for smart sustainable cities” is established under the United for Smart Sustainable Cities (U4SSC) Initiative aims to facilitate an exchange of information on activities of different UN agencies, national and local governments and relevant stakeholders related to the existing and emerging instruments to finance urban development projects aimed at supporting cities’ sustainability and smartness. In 2017, under the umbrella of the U4SSC, UNECE decided to support the development of the “Guidelines on tools and mechanisms to finance smart sustainable cities”.
