On December 15-16, 2015 in the premises of the Chamber of Trade and Commerce of Ukraine took place a training seminar “PPP as an instrument of investment attraction”
Organizers of the seminar – the Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine and the World bank. At the seminar it was presented fundamentals of public-private partnership (principles: institutes, procurement, stakeholders, risks analysis and financing); main stages of PPP development; opportunities of using PPPs for implementation of pipeline of state and communal infrastructure projects; peculiarities of using PPP legislation and special concession legislation in Ukraine, and key issues of attention while preparing PPP projects; experience of PPP projects implementation in the Great Britain, EU countries and Korea; peculiarities of transport PPPs and PPPs on communal infrastructure modernization. The training was conducted by an advisor of the World bank Jay-Hyung Kim and the World bank consultants Martin Darcy and Iryna Zapatrina.
