On September 18, the Platform “Supermarket of Solutions for Communities” hosted a webinar "Public-Private Partnership in Heat Supply: How Communities Can Attract Private Investments". The webinar was conducted by Andriy Gevko, Vice President of the Public Sector "Heat Energy Cluster of Ukraine" and Iryna Zapatrina, Founder of the Academy of Public-Private Partnerships, Doctor of Economics
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
- opportunities for communities opened up by the new PPP legislation;
- projects in the field of heat supply that can be implemented with the involvement of a private business;
- the economic model of such projects and how private investments are returned;
- the impact of tariff restrictions on the structuring of projects;
- institutional challenges in the preparation and launch of PPP projects
