The 11th International Research Study on Public Procurement meeting was held in Brussels, Belgium, from 21 to 23 September 2026. The experts from 17 countries in Europe, Africa, America and Asia discussed the topic of “Public Procurement in the Face of Economic Instability and Budgetary Uncertainty”.
The event, held at the Prince Albert Club, discussed the following issues:
How to deal with financial uncertainty arising from volatile prices, sharp inflationary jumps, tight budget constraints or, conversely, additional budgetary resources?
How can we ensure that increasingly necessary national security requirements are met in light of the growing threat?
How can we take into account preferences for suppliers of products (domestic products, products manufactured in the EU, etc.)?
