Founder of the Academy, Iryna Zapatrina, has been included as a panelist in the Technical Panel of the UNECE PIERS Programme to provide support to the UNECE PPP Secretariat during the evaluation process on:
- Project affordability; and
- Capacity building and technology transfer.
The Technical Panel is a central feature of the PIERS Programme, which is currently being put in place by the Secretariat as part of its technical capacity services to the member States to ensure that the PIERS methodology is uniformly applied.
The Technical Panel will be launched in early 2024, and the first batch of 40 projects are expected to be evaluated in the following countries in 2024 and 2025: Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uganda and Zambia.
