As a result of the discussion of the project proposal on modernization of Kherson and Skadovsk sea ports on the conditions of public-private partnership prepared by the Academy it was initiated creation of a new transport corridor Klaipeda-Belarus-Kherson-Trabzon-Georgia-Baku. The idea was supported by representatives of public authorities and business from Lithuania, Turkey, Belarus and Georgia.
