On February 20, 2023, with the assistance of the USAID Project "Economic Support of Ukraine" (USAID Project), with the support of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Occupied Territories of Ukraine (Ministry of Reintegration) and with the assistance of the Association of Small Towns of Ukraine, the training of participants in the Program for Recovery Officers began.
This training program will help create a team of specialists for the development and reconstruction of cities whose infrastructure has been destroyed by a full-scale war launched by the Russian Federation.
To participate in the program, the USAID Project received more than 600 applications and selected about 300 participants - they are representatives of regional authorities, local self-government bodies, and public organizations from 16 regions of Ukraine. 200 participants are joining the training in the coming days, and about 100 more people will join them in April.
The training program was prepared by the consultants of the Academy of Public-Private Partnership and will be held on the Academy's educational platform.
Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a Rehabilitation Specialist certificate and will be engaged by the Ministry of Reintegration for cooperation. The USAID Project will help the communities whose representatives will receive the best indicators based on the results of the training to attract donors for the implementation of recovery projects.
