On January 17, 2017 at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine took place presentation of the proposal on the implementation of public-private partnership of the project “Modernization of port infrastructure of Kherson and Skadovsk Sea Trade Ports”.
It is already the second presentation of the proposal prepared by the Academy of Public-Private Partnership in cooperation with Law firm “JurEnergoConsulting” andsubmitted by its initiator - the Group of Companies “Sodruzhestvo” for the consideration of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. The first one took place in theLithuanian Embassy in Ukraine in December 2017.
The project was presented by General director of the Group of Companies ” Sodruzhestvo” V. Popov and the head of the project preparation team professor, doctor of economic science I. Zatatrina.
Among the speakers at the event were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Yönet Can Tezel, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine Marius Janukonis, the Head of Kherson Regional State Administration, Mayors of cities Kherson and Skadovsk, representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus, a seaport of the Turkish city of Trabzon, Kherson sea trade port.
The participants of the event have expressed their support of the project and emphasized on the importance of starting its implementation in the nearest future.
